Description

Cardiac RNFA must be able to assist with chest exposure and closing, as well as independently perform vein harvesting for CABGs. It is preferred but not required to first assist in DaVinci robotic cases. Additionally, it is preferred but not required to be able to scrub and circulate complex cardiac cases, which may include CABGs, structural heart cases (e.g., Bentall), minimally invasive procedures (e.g., Mini Aortic Valve Replacement), and heart failure cases (e.g., Impella). Experience in heart transplants is preferred.

Requirements:

Minimum of 2 years of cardiac RNFA experience
AHA BLS and ACLS certifications
NYS RN license
CNOR certification
