Patient Ratio: Ability to manage a patient ratio of 1:5 to 1:7 for MedSurg

Location Restrictions: Must be located outside a 75-mile radius

Additional Requirements:

• Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency Response Skills:
• Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias

• Use of Rapid Response and Code teams

• IV Therapy/Phlebotomy:

• Peripheral line care and management

• Respiratory Support:

• Management with nasal cannula, oxygen face masks, portable oxygen tanks, and non-invasive airway management

• Professional Skills:

• Familiarity with isolation precautions

Unit Details:
- 26-bed Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) - A critical care step-down dedicated to evidence-based care - Receives patients from various departments, including Emergency, Post Anesthesia, and Intensive Care Units - Continuous pulse oximetry and telemetry monitoring for all patients - Care for individuals requiring specialized attention such as airway management, acute BIPAP support, arterial lines, central lines, and titrated medicated IV infusions
