Traveling Respiratory Therapist

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform respiratory therapy assessments and treatments to assist in patient recovery and maintain respiratory health.
• Utilize ventilators, CPAP/BiPAP therapy, and other respiratory modalities.
• Conduct diagnostic tests such as arterial blood gases, pulmonary function tests, and sleep studies.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.

Qualifications:

• Strong knowledge of respiratory therapy principles and equipment.
• Ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments and adapt to various clinical settings.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compliance with relevant regulatory and accreditation standards.

Requirements:

• Valid respiratory therapist certification.
• Prior experience in respiratory care, preferably in acute or critical care settings.
• BLS and ACLS certification preferred.
