Position Overview

• Facility: 371 licensed bed facility with 220 Med/Surg beds, MICU, ED, Labor and Delivery, a Level 2B Nursery, etc.
• Years of Experience Required: 2 years, must have ventilator experience in an acute care setting.
• Skill Sets Required:
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in respiratory therapy.
• Ability to draw arterial blood gases.

Rotation and Shifts

• Rotation: Day position may rotate to 11 AM - 11 PM when needed. Night position is straight nights.

Technical Requirements

• EMR (Charting System): EPIC.
• Clinician to Patient Ratio:
• 5 Respiratory Therapists staffed during the day shift.
• 5 during the evening shift.
• 4 on nights.
• Day Shift Allocation:
• 1 on charge.
• 2 assigned to 20-bed ICU.
• 2 assigned to Med/Surg floors.

Equipment Used

• PB980 Ventilator
• Hamilton T1 Transport Ventilator

Certifications Required

• Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) from the NBRC.
• Active MA Respiratory Therapist License.
