Responsibilities:

• Deliver competent care based on established standards in collaboration with the Nurse Manager.
• Engage in professional development and participate in evidence-based practice.
• Assume expanded responsibilities, including serving as a charge nurse, preceptor, and participating in committees.
• Provide specialized care for surgical patients including thoracic, foregut, plastics, and burn care.
• Manage and care for pulmonary hypertension patients through the Pulmonary Care Center.
• Operate and manage a variety of medical equipment, tubes, lines, and drains.

Requirements:

• Telemetry experience
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• Two years of professional experience
• Valid New York RN license
