Description
We are seeking an experienced individual for an opportunity in Interventional Radiology. The ideal candidate will have experience with IR at a Level 1 Trauma Center.
Requirements: - Active IL RN Licensure, BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS at the time of submission - Graduate of an accredited nursing program; education verification is required - 3 years of RN experience with 1 year of critical care experience required - Cardiovascular Intervention experience required - Successfully pass EKG test prior to completion of orientation - Current CPR certification, Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification, and Pediatric Life Support (PALS) certification - National Institute Healthcare Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Utilize the nursing process and critical thinking in collaboration with team members - Perform assessments, planning, intervention, and evaluation of care - Ensure accurate and comprehensive documentation in accordance with established standards - Develop, initiate, and execute patient plans of care based on individualized needs, as prescribed - Utilize resources for patient and family education - Participate in department or unit performance improvement activities - Offer clinical expertise and guidance to support the patient’s longitudinal plan of care - Engage in personal development and continuous learning opportunities - Support and participate in peer review and peer feedback opportunities - Maintain timely flow of patients in clinic and ambulatory settings, respond to telephone calls, and perform telephone triage of patients
