Treatment Details

• Number of treatments per day: 20-25

Certifications Required

• RRT preferred
• Must have BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP for NICU

Patient Demographics

• Pediatrics and Neonates

Covered Areas

• NICU or PICU

Required Experience and Skills

• Minimum of 2 years experience in PICU or level III (or greater) NICU

Job Duties

• All aspects of respiratory care
• Operations include aerogen, Volara, cough assist, IPV, NAVA, Hamilton and Servo ventilators, airway management, and intrahospital transport
• Assistance with intubation (independent intubation not required)

Scheduling Requirements

• Preference scheduling available with a commitment of 6 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule (weekends include Friday, Saturday, and Sunday)
• Staffing with 8 RTs per shift preferred

Weekend and Holiday Requirements

• Weekend: 6 shifts per 4-week schedule
• Holiday: Possibly required

Additional Information

• Dress Code: Stone/light Gray scrubs
• Equipment: Hamilton and Servo ventilators, Respironics & Hamilton BiPAP, Fisher Paykel HFNC
• In-house Support: Hospitalist or Intensivist present
• Specific Department Orientation: Provided based on experience

Cancellation Policy

• Permits 2 shift cancellations per 13-week contract
