Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Cath Lab Tech to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in cardiac catheterization procedures and demonstrate a commitment to quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures.
- Operate and monitor equipment, including fluoroscopy machines and hemodynamic monitoring devices.
- Prepare and maintain a sterile environment in the procedure room.
- Manage and maintain inventory of cath lab supplies.
- Coordinate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Provide post-procedural care and instructions.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a cath lab setting.
- Proficient in the use of specialized equipment and instruments used in cardiac procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Capability to lift and move equipment and patients as needed.
- Dexterity to handle delicate instruments and equipment with precision.
