Complete Description:
The Adult Cardiac OR handles a diverse range of cases, including CABGs, TAVIs, and heart failure management involving VADs, ECMO, artificial heart, and heart transplants. The team employs a multidisciplinary approach to cater to patients across all age groups.

Core Responsibilities:

Independently scrub and circulate complex adult cardiac cases, such as CABGs, structural heart procedures like Bentall, minimally invasive techniques such as Mini Aortic Valve Replacement, and heart failure interventions like Impella.
Preference for candidates with experience in transplant and TAVI/TAVR procedures, though it is not mandatory.

Job Requirements:

Two years of experience in an operating room setting.
Operating room experience in a level 1 trauma center is preferred.
Proficiency in circulating.
Competency in telemetry.

Certifications:

BLS (American Heart Association)
ACLS (American Heart Association)

Required Skills:

NY License RN License
BLS Certification
Two years of experience in relevant settings
Capability to scrub and circulate
ACLS Certification
Telemetry proficiency
