Description

Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team in the Step Down/PCU unit. This position requires flexibility in scheduling and a commitment to providing high-quality care in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor and assess patients with critical needs, ensuring their stability and progress.
Develop and implement patient care plans based on their unique needs and conditions.
Utilize critical thinking and problem-solving skills in high-pressure situations.
Maintain open communication with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
Ensure adherence to all healthcare regulations and protocols.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in a Step Down/PCU unit or similar environment.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced setting.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Commitment to maintaining a safe and clean working environment.

Skills & Competencies:

Proficient in the use of medical monitoring equipment and technology.
Ability to adapt to changing clinical conditions and patient needs.
Strong analytical skills for evaluating patient conditions and making appropriate decisions.

Staff is Very friendly and helpful. They provide scrubs. Easy work.

Cons

Difficulty finding a place to stay around here. They won't schedule you in blocks and you have to find someone to switch. NOTHING to do around town- everything closes at 5.
