Position Overview
A Cardiac Device Nurse is needed for the outpatient Device clinic. The role is from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM with no on-call or weekend obligations.
Patient Population
- Adult patients (18+) with cardiac conditions and implanted monitors.
Requirements
- Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.
- Experience: Pacemaker/ICD Technician program or equivalent job experience is necessary.
- Preferred Certifications: CCDS, CDRMS.
- Skills: Knowledge in cardiac rhythm management, cardiac devices, and cardiovascular physiology is essential.
- Experience: Recent experience (within the past 2 years) with the EPIC system is mandatory.
Responsibilities
The Device Technician will manage the technical aspects of implanted cardiac rhythm management devices, including pacemakers, implantable defibrillators, and implanted loop recorders independently.

- Ensure that all employment gaps over 90 days are well explained.
- Comprehensive work history detailing bed count, EMR usage, and facility type is required for submission.
- Reliable personal or rental vehicle transportation is recommended as public transportation is not accessible in the area.
