Description
School-Based | PEL Required
We are seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (Bilingual preferred) to join a collaborative, student-centered school environment. This is an onsite, temporary contract, school-based role with flexibility built into placement and caseload based on candidate preference , discussed during the interview process.
Position Details

Building site, bell schedule, and caseload determined during the interview based on candidate preference
School-based position in a fast-paced educational environment
Job Duties & Responsibilities
Prevention
Provide consultation services
Deliver in-service trainings
Communicate and collaborate with parents and parent groups
Identification
Participate in pre-referral processes (student support teams)
Conduct screenings
Support referrals for the evaluation process
Assessment
Collect data using standardized and non-standardized measures
Interpret assessment results
Write evaluation reports
Share results with parents and school staff
Determine eligibility for services
Develop and maintain IEPs
Intervention
Manage caseloads and scheduling
Provide direct services within the educational setting (push-in and pull-out)
Consult on academic and social communication needs
Develop ongoing goals and document student progress
Collaborate with classroom teachers and multidisciplinary teams
Conduct annual review and IEP meetings
Compliance & Documentation
Complete caseload records for special education funding
Maintain student IEPs and evaluations using a web-based data system
Work Environment & Expectations
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-based setting
Must work in noisy, crowded, and fast-paced school environments
Indoors and outdoors in a busy school setting
Frequent interruptions and shifting priorities
May be required to leave the main worksite for meetings
Public-facing role requiring professional, business-appropriate attire

PeopleFirst Education Staffing Job ID #26-00010. Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
