*Will work Charge as needed for this assignment*
Position / Specialty: Med Surg RN - Urology/Nephrology.
Shift: 3x12 Nights (1845-0715)
Average Daily Census: 23. 25 bed unit.
Years of experience REQ: Minimum 2 years' experience required.
First-timers accepted: Yes - Want to see they have a solid foundation as an RN if they are new to travel. > 2 year's experience in medical/surgical nursing.
Weekend REQ: Will work every other weekend
Certs REQ: BLS and active IL RN license required.
Is on-call REQ? No.
Will clinician float within scope to meet facility needs? Yes – will float to other Medical Surgical units
Open to accommodating block schedule? Will try but not guaranteed.
Locals accepted: Yes- no radius.
Must have active IL license in hand or be in application process to apply.
RTO Restrictions: Ideally no more than 5 days.
Guaranteed Hours: Client may call-off up to 36 hours per thirteen week assignment without paying for the cancelled hours. If Client cancels more hours than permitted by this section, Client will be billed for any shifts or portions thereof cancelled in excess of this section. If Candidates are placed on-call in lieu of being called off, that will count as a called-off shift.
Special Requirements: Required Work Setting Experience: MS/Tele, Med/Surg. Required Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency response Skills/Experience: Telemetry- remote monitoring, Use of Rapid Response Teams. Required Genitourinary/Renal Case Skills/Experience: Pre/Post Hemodialysis Management, Renal failure. Required IV therapy/Phlebotomy Skills/Experience: Blood Product Administration, Central line blood draw, Peripheral Line Care/Management, PICC line management, Starting IVs. Required Medication Skills/Experience: Heparin. Required Respiratory Case Skills/Experience: Chest tubes-Emerson/Pleur-evac, CPAP/BiPAP, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Nasal Cannula, Non-invasive airway management, Oral suctioning, Portable Oxygen tank. Required Professional Knowledge and Skills: Isolation Precautions, Wound Care/Wound Vac. Cerner experience required.
