💼 Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced CVOR Surgical Tech to join a high-acuity cardiovascular team in Albuquerque, NM. This role supports complex cardiac procedures in a dedicated heart hospital environment.

🫀 Responsibilities
Assist in cardiovascular surgical procedures including:
CABG
Valve replacements
Open AAA
Fem-Pop bypass
CEA
Maintain sterile field and adhere to aseptic technique
Prepare and manage surgical instruments and equipment
Follow universal protocol and safety standards (time-out, radiation, laser safety)
Collaborate with surgeons, RNs, and anesthesia team
✅ Requirements
Minimum 1 year CVOR Tech experience
Travel experience required
BLS required
NBSTSA preferred (not required)
Experience in cardiovascular procedures strongly preferred
Must be comfortable with call and floating
📅 Additional Details
Call required
Weekend rotation: Every 3rd weekend
Float to like units as needed
Patient population: Adults & Geriatrics

Pending NM or Compact license accepted (must be active before start)
Max 4 days RTO allowed at submission
Labs required within 48 hours of signing
Orientation: 40 hours (modules onsite)
