Description

ravel Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN)

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse for a travel assignment in Indiana. First-time travelers are welcome to apply.

Assignment Details
Schedule: 3x12 or 4x12-hour shifts
Minimum experience: 3 years of recent ER experience
Indiana RN license must be active and in hand at submission
Candidates must be willing to work charge
Local candidates and Indiana residents are not eligible
Floating is required to other units within the hospital or nearby affiliated facilities
Required Experience and Skills
At least Level II Trauma experience
Combined adult and pediatric emergency care
Dysrhythmia interpretation and management
Phlebotomy and IV insertion
Continuous IV sedation
IV vasopressor administration
Procedural sedation
CPAP/BiPAP
Care of ventilated patients
Isolation precautions
Certifications

Required:

BLS/BCLS
ACLS
PALS

Preferred:

NIHSS
TNCC
Unit Information
48-bed Emergency Department with the ability to flex up to 62 beds
Standard ED staffing ratio does not exceed 1:4
Progressive-care holds may have a 1:4 ratio
Medical holds may have a 1:5 ratio
The department averages approximately 6.6 behavioral health patients per day
