Critical Care Registered Nurse (RN) – Per Diem

Pay Rate: $55.00 per hour
Position Type: Per Diem (PRN)

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Critical Care Registered Nurse (RN) to provide exceptional care to critically ill patients in a Long-Term Acute Care Hospital (LTACH) setting. The ideal candidate will have strong ICU or critical care experience and be comfortable managing patients requiring advanced respiratory and cardiac support.

Responsibilities
Assess patient conditions and develop individualized nursing care plans.
Monitor, document, and report changes in patient status and vital signs.
Provide advanced nursing care for patients with critical illnesses and complex medical conditions.
Manage and adjust ventilators and other critical care equipment as needed.
Administer medications, IV fluids, blood products, and treatments per physician orders.
Perform tracheostomy care, suctioning, and central line management.
Assist physicians with bedside procedures.
Respond promptly to emergencies and provide life-saving interventions.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Educate patients and families regarding care plans and treatment goals.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
Required Qualifications
Active Florida RN License or Compact/Multistate RN License.
Current ACLS Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).
Current BLS Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).
Recent Critical Care, ICU, LTACH, CVICU, MICU, or SICU experience.
Experience with:
Ventilator management
Tracheostomy (Trach) care
Central line care and maintenance
Preferred Qualifications
Wound care experience.
Experience caring for ventilator-dependent patients.
CCRN certification preferred.
