Responsibilities:

Ensures biomedical radiology and imaging equipment is maintained in a high state of reliability. Performs scheduled preventative maintenance, new equipment installations, testing, calibrations and repairs to all radiology and imaging equipment following manufacturer's recommendations.

Qualifications:

Education
• Bachelor's Degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Systems technology, Physics or directly related field required
• High School Diploma, General Education Development (GED) or Completion of a CMC Approved Individualized Education Plan (IEP) Certificate and 4 years of Imaging Equipment Technician experience or related experience may be substituted for Bachelor’s degree

 

Experience
• Significant training in various types of patient related medical equipment preferred

 

Licenses and Certifications
• CBET - Clinical Engineering and Biomed preferred
• Biomedical Equipment Technician Certificate preferred
