Responsibilities:

Responsible for direct supervision of Therapists and support staff. In collaboration with the Manager, oversees operations including assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating the care of the departmental patients in order to ensure that patients and families receive an optimum level of care and service. Accountable for providing expertise, leadership, effective communication, staff development and budget support.

Qualifications:

Education

• Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, or Speech-Language Pathology required

 

Experience

• 3 years of experience as a Staff Therapist required

• Experience in the healthcare industry or a healthcare setting required

 

Licenses and Certifications

• BLS - Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers by American Heart Association (AHA) required

 

One of the following is required:

• PT - State of California Physical Therapist License

• OT - State of California Occupational Therapist License

• SLP - State of California Speech Language Pathologist License
