Responsibilities:
The Manager of Behavioral Health Therapeutic Services is responsible for the oversight and management of therapeutic and mental health care within the inpatient behavioral health setting. The manager works to support evidence-based treatments and provides guidance to CBHC mental health professionals to provide the most appropriate treatment as indicated. Responsible for the overall direction, supervision and evaluation of utilization management, therapeutic interventions, case management and discharge planning functions performed by personnel at Community Behavioral Health Center.
Qualifications:
Education
• Master's Degree in Social Work, Marriage Family Therapy or related field required or
• Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Behavioral Health, Social Welfare or related field required
 
Experience
• Experience in psychological testing, diagnosis, crisis intervention and/or psychotherapy required
• Previous management experience preferred
 
Licenses and Certifications
• One of the following is required
o LCSW - State of California Licensed Clinical Social Worker
o LMFT - State of California Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist
o PSY - State of California Clinical Psychologist License
