Pay Details
* Pay Rate: $60/hr
* Weekly Gross: $2,400/week
* Taxable/W2 Rate: $28.85/hr
* Weekly Stipend: $1,246/week ($31.15/hr) for qualified travelers
* Overtime Rate: $70/hr after 40 hours
* Total Compensation: $60/hr (W2 Pay + Stipend)

* End Time: 4:30 PM
* Rotation/Weekend Requirements: 4 weekend shifts required per 4 weeks

Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Travel Occupational Therapist (OT) to provide skilled occupational therapy services in an acute care setting in Cumming, Georgia.
The OT will work with patients across a broad range of medical and surgical diagnoses, including ICU, stroke and neurological conditions, orthopedic cases, and general debility. The position focuses on helping patients improve functional mobility, independence, and daily living skills while collaborating with an interdisciplinary healthcare team.
Responsibilities
* Evaluate patients and develop individualized occupational therapy treatment plans.
* Provide skilled OT interventions based on patient needs and physician orders.
* Treat patients across a variety of acute care diagnoses and medical conditions.
* Support patients in improving functional mobility, independence, and activities of daily living.
* Monitor patient progress and update treatment plans as appropriate.
* Provide patient and family education regarding therapy goals and recommendations.
* Maintain accurate and timely documentation in Cerner.
* Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, and other interdisciplinary team members.
* Provide occupational therapy services to ICU, neurological, orthopedic, and general medical/surgical patients.
* Follow patient safety, infection control, and facility standards.
Requirements
* Minimum 2 years of recent Occupational Therapy experience
* Active Georgia OT License — Required
* NBCOT Certification — Required
* Current AHA BLS Certification — Required
* Cerner experience
* Acute care OT experience strongly preferred
* Strong clinical assessment, treatment, and documentation skills
* Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
