Description
Role: Medical Technologist – Laboratory
Location: Canton, GA 30115
Facility Name: Northside Hospital Cherokee
Contract Duration: 16 Weeks
Shift: 12 hour days/ Night Shift
Scheduled Hours: 40 hrs/week
Candidate Type: Travel Only
Local Radius: 50 miles
Floating: Optional
Prior Travel Experience: Required
Start Date: 09/21/2026
End Date: 01/09/2027
Work Week: Sunday – Saturday
Schedule: Monday – Thursday
Specialty/Department: Clinical Laboratory
Requirements
Minimum 2 years of recent experience in the specialty
ASCP, AMT, or AAB certification required
Facility will only consider Medical Technologists and Medical Laboratory Scientists
Medical Laboratory Technicians will not be considered
Prior travel experience required
Holiday Requirements
Must work 2 of the 3 major holidays:
Thanksgiving Day
Christmas Day
New Year’s Day
Must also work 1 minor holiday:
Friday after Thanksgiving
Christmas Eve
New Year’s Eve
Contract Details
Daily OT after 24 hours
Weekly OT after 40 hours
