Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) – Travel Assignment

Location: Arcata, CA
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Pay Rate: $62/hour
Weekly Pay: Up to $2,480/week (including stipend)
Weekly Stipend: $1,477
Taxable Rate: $25.07/hour
Non-Taxable Rate: $36.92/hour
Overtime: Available after 40 hours worked
Shift: 12-Hour Day or Night Shifts
Scheduled Hours: 40 Hours per Week

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) for a 13-week travel assignment in Arcata, California. The ideal candidate will perform a wide range of laboratory testing procedures, analyze specimens, validate results, and ensure compliance with laboratory quality standards while supporting high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities
Perform clinical laboratory testing in accordance with established procedures and regulatory requirements.
Analyze and interpret test results accurately and efficiently.
Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory instrumentation and equipment.
Ensure quality control standards are met and documented.
Collect, process, and handle specimens according to laboratory protocols.
Maintain accurate patient records and laboratory documentation.
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and healthcare staff regarding test results and laboratory services.
Adhere to all safety, infection control, and compliance guidelines.
