Description
Role: Registered Nurse – CVICU/CCU
Facility: Valley View Hospital
Location: Glenwood Springs, CO 81601
Facility Address: 1906 Blake Avenue, Glenwood Springs, CO 81601
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Pay Rate: $85/hr
Weekly Pay: $3,060(including stipend)
Stipend: $1,246/week
Overtime Rate: $90/hr (after 40 hours)
Start Date: September 29, 2026
Shift: Nights | 7:00 PM–7:30 AM | 12-hour shifts
Scheduled Hours: 36 hours/week
EMR: Meditech
Holiday Coverage: Yes
Local Radius
Traveler’s permanent address must be at least 75 miles from the facility.
Requirements
Minimum 3 years of RN Critical Care experience required
Strong CVICU skills required
Day 0 CVICU experience required
Must be willing to cover CCU
Active Colorado RN license required
BLS and ACLS through the American Heart Association required
Nursys RN License required
Resume required
Skills Sheet including CVICU skills required
BLS, ACLS, and PALS – AHA documentation required
Unit & Schedule Details
12-hour night shifts with weekend rotation
Must participate in the call rotation
Must take 1 call shift per 2-week period when requested due to staffing needs
Call shift is taken in place of guaranteed hours for that week
Facility has 2 Cath Labs, including 1 Hybrid Cath Lab
Housing
Newly remodeled studio and 1-bedroom apartments are available approximately ½ block from the hospital, based on availability.
Studio: $1,790/month
1-Bedroom: $1,980/month
Fully furnished with Wi-Fi, utilities, and on-site laundry
