Compensation
Pay Rate: Up to $93/hour
Weekly Pay: Up to $4,320/week (based on a 48-hour schedule)
Weekly Stipend: Up to $1,848 (for eligible travelers)
Overtime: Available after 40 hours, where applicable

Assignment Details
Position: Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Labor & Delivery
Facility: Emerson Hospital
Location: Concord, Massachusetts
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Start Date: August 3, 2026
Shift: Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
Schedule Options:
3×12 (36 hours/week)
4×12 (48 hours/week)
Every other weekend required
Every other holiday required
No on-call responsibilities
Responsibilities

As a Labor & Delivery RN, you will provide compassionate, high-quality care to mothers and newborns throughout the labor and delivery process while collaborating with physicians, midwives, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.

Responsibilities include:

Provide comprehensive Labor & Delivery nursing care.
Monitor maternal and fetal well-being throughout labor.
Assist during deliveries and emergency obstetric procedures.
Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders.
Educate patients and families throughout the childbirth process.
Collaborate with physicians, anesthesiologists, and neonatal teams.
Float to the Postpartum unit when needed.
Serve as Charge Nurse when assigned, with support from the Clinical Resource Nurse.

Qualifications

To be considered, candidates must have:

Active Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) License
Minimum of 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery experience
Previous travel nursing experience
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced Labor & Delivery environment
Required Certifications
BLS (Basic Life Support)
ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
Fetal Monitoring Certification
