Travel Registered Nurse – MedSurg / Telemetry

Location: Concord, MA
Department/Specialty: Medical-Surgical / Telemetry

Pay Details
Pay Rate: $75/hr
Weekly Gross: $2,700/week (All-Inclusive)
Taxable/W2 Rate: $23.66/hr
Weekly Stipend: $1,848/week ($51.33/hr)
Total Compensation: $75/hr (W2 Pay + Stipend)
Overtime Rate: $80/hr after 40 hours
Local Rate: $8/hr less than the travel rate

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Travel Registered Nurse – MedSurg / Telemetry to provide safe, high-quality nursing care in a fast-paced medical-surgical and telemetry environment.

The RN will provide comprehensive patient care, closely monitor telemetry and neurological conditions, administer medications and treatments, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to support optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and monitor patient conditions.
Provide direct nursing care to medical-surgical and telemetry patients.
Monitor and interpret telemetry rhythms and recognize changes in patient condition.
Provide care for patients with neurological conditions and related needs.
Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapies according to orders and protocols.
Communicate significant changes in patient condition to the appropriate healthcare providers.
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary care teams.
Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation.
Follow patient safety, infection control, and facility standards.
Provide patient and family education as appropriate.
Requirements
Minimum 3 years of Medical-Surgical / Telemetry experience — Required
Strong Telemetry experience — Required
Strong Neurology experience — Required
Travel nursing experience — Required
Massachusetts RN License — Required
BLS certification — Required
MediTech experience — Preferred
Strong clinical assessment, communication, and critical-thinking skills
