We're seeking an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a 13-week travel assignment in beautiful Watertown, NY. This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside a skilled multidisciplinary team while providing life-saving respiratory care in a fast-paced acute care environment.

Responsibilities
Assess, treat, and monitor patients with acute and chronic cardiopulmonary disorders.
Initiate, manage, and troubleshoot mechanical ventilation.
Establish ventilator settings using advanced principles of volume, pressure, flow, and time relationships.
Perform respiratory assessments, oxygen therapy, aerosol treatments, and airway management.
Interpret arterial blood gases and apply knowledge of acid-base and electrolyte balance.
Respond to respiratory emergencies and rapid response situations.
Accurately document patient care using Meditech EMR.
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient care.
Minimum Requirements
Graduate of an AMA-accredited Respiratory Care Program
Active New York Respiratory Therapist License
Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential through the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC)
Current BLS and ACLS certifications
NRP and PALS preferred
Previous acute care hospital experience preferred
