40Summary:
The Director of Nursing & Patient Care holds executive-level accountability for the integrated clinical and administrative management of all nursing departments within the facility. This leader is responsible for the strategic planning, organization, and direction of departmental operations to ensure the efficient and high-quality delivery of patient care. By collaborating closely with medical leadership, the Director develops and implements a unified vision that aligns clinical practice with the medical center’s overarching goals. A central focus of this role is fostering a culture of excellence and employee engagement, advocating for high care standards while building unit pride through proactive leadership strategies. Ultimately, the Director serves as a key architect of the clinical environment, ensuring operational effectiveness and a superior patient experience.
Experience: 5 years of progressive nursing leadership experience & Periop experience required.
Education: Master's Degree is required. Either the bachelor's or a graduate degree MUST be in Nursing.
Certification/Licensure: Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license.
Post hire req: BLS and specialty certifications per role guidelines.
