Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process and collaborate with interdisciplinary team members in caring for patients.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments according to nursing standards and state laws.
• Document care according to standards of care.
• Perform assessments, planning, interventions, and evaluation of care.
• Develop, initiate, and execute patient plans of care, providing patient and family instruction.
• Participate in department or unit performance improvement activities.
• Provide clinical expertise and guidance for patient care.
• Use critical thinking to ensure patient safety and escalate issues appropriately.
• Contribute to professional nursing activities and peer review processes.

Qualifications

Required:

• Active IL RN Licensure
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS certifications
• Either TNCC or TNS certification
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
