RN (Registered Nurse) | Travel | Neuro MedSurg Acute, IL

Assignment Overview

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for our Neuro MedSurg Acute unit. The ideal candidate will have level 1 trauma experience and previous travel experience. Candidates will work in an acute care setting, focusing on patients with neurological issues such as stroke and spine surgery.

Shift Details: 4 x 12-hour shifts, Nights
Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
Holiday Requirement: Every other
Estimated gross weekly pay package: $3420 (negotiable)
Charting System: EPIC
Local Candidate Policy: Adjusted rate applies within 50 miles
Number of Openings: 1

Responsibilities

Provide patient care in a 54-bed unit
Administer and titrate drips, including Heparin
Work under the supervision of a charge nurse and house supervisor
Collaborate with patient care techs and other support staff
Float in rotation with general unit staff as needed

Qualifications

Required:

Active IL RN license or proof of application process
BLS (AHA) and NIHSS certifications
Level 1 trauma experience
Previous travel experience
Experience on a dedicated neuro unit
