RN - Med Surg | Travel | Milwaukee, WI

Assignment Overview

We are seeking an experienced RN specializing in Med Surg for a travel assignment. The ideal candidate will have expertise in handling cardiac cases, including cardiac-heart failure. This role involves working in a Level III Trauma Center, managing pre-surgical patients, and providing care for those with cardiac-related issues.

Responsibilities

Manage patient care for cath lab, amputations, and pre-surgical cases
Administer and monitor cardiac medications and therapies
Perform wound care and telemetry readings
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team for patient care

Qualifications

Required:

RN Certification: BLS
Skills in cardiac gtts, heparin, lasix, and insulin gtt
Chest tube and trach management
Telemetry proficiency

Preferred:

Experience with EPIC charting system
