Assignment Overview

Join the Medical Acute Care Unit as a Travel Registered Nurse specializing in general medical care. This role is ideal for nurses with strong teamwork and communication skills, and gen med experience. The unit focuses on providing comprehensive care to patients with general medical conditions.

Assignment Details

Facility Type: Acute Care
Shift Details: 12-hour nights
Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
Holiday Requirement: 3 of 6 required holidays throughout the year
Estimated gross weekly pay package: $2565 (negotiable)
Charting System: EPIC

Responsibilities

Provide high-quality nursing care to medical acute patients
Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure effective communication and patient management
Manage daily patient assignments with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4/5 on day shift and 1:5/6 on night shift
Assist with telemetry monitoring, supported by central station monitor techs

Qualifications

Required:

Active IL RN license
BLS Certification (AHA)
Experience in general medical units
