Registered Nurse (RN) - Operating Room (OR) | Travel | Oak Lawn, IL
Assignment Overview
We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) with experience in the Operating Room to join our team. The role involves working in a dynamic surgical environment that includes trauma, cardiovascular, and general procedures. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of acute care experience and a background in critical care or trauma settings.
Assignment Details
- Estimated gross weekly pay package: $3150 (negotiable)
- Location: Oak Lawn, IL
- Shift Details: Various shifts including 3x12h, 2x8h & 2x12h, 5x8h
- Weekend Rotation: Every 4th weekend (Sat-Sun)
- On-Call: Required with a 30 min. response time
- Work Modality: On-site
- Charting System: EPIC
Responsibilities
- Scrub and circulate during surgical procedures
- Provide critical care and trauma support
- Collaborate with the surgical team and assist in urgent cases
- Participate in patient assessments and documentation
Qualifications
Required:
- BLS Certification
- Experience with EPIC
- Scrub and circulate experience in trauma settings
- 2-3 years of acute care experience
Preferred:
- Critical care and Level 1 trauma experience
