RN OR | Location: Oak Lawn, IL
Assignment Overview
Join our surgical team as a Registered Nurse specializing in the Operating Room. This role involves working with a diverse patient population, including trauma and various surgical cases. The ideal candidate will have acute care experience and the ability to scrub and circulate in high-acuity settings.
Assignment Details
- Estimated gross weekly pay package: $3150 (negotiable)
- Shift Details: 0645-1515, 1445-1915, 2245-0715, 3x 12h, 2x8H; 2x 12H, 5x8h
- Weekend rotation: Every 4th weekend (Sat-Sun)
- On-call duties require a 30-minute response time
Responsibilities
- Provide care in a Level I Trauma Center
- Scrub and circulate during surgical procedures
- Manage cases in hybrid rooms for cardiovascular/vascular patients
- Work collaboratively with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and a multidisciplinary team
Qualifications
Required:
- BLS certification
- Ability to scrub and circulate in OR settings
- Experience with EPIC charting system
- 2-3 years of acute care experience
Preferred:
- Critical care and trauma experience
- Experience in a Level 1 or 2 trauma center
