Assignment Overview

Seeking a dedicated RN for a Neuro MedSurg Acute unit. Ideal candidates should have experience in level 1 trauma and prior travel experience. This role requires managing a range of neurological issues such as stroke and brain injuries, within a 54-bed capacity. Candidates must be skilled in titrating heparin drips and should have worked in a dedicated neuro unit previously.

Responsibilities

Manage patient care in a Neuro MedSurg Acute setting.
Titrate Heparin drips based on PTT levels.
Collaborate with charge nurses and house supervisors.
Participate in unit-specific orientation and training.
Float to general units as required.

Qualifications

Required:

Active IL license or proof of application initiation
BLS and NIHSS certifications
Level 1 trauma experience
Experience with heparin titration
Prior travel experience in a dedicated neuro unit
