Cath Lab RN - Traveler | Evanston, IL

Assignment Overview

We are seeking a Cath Lab Registered Nurse to join our team in a full-time traveler role in Evanston, IL. The ideal candidate will have experience in cardiovascular procedures and deliver exceptional patient care to adult and geriatric populations throughout all stages of cath lab operations.

Shift: Days, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. with a 30-minute on-call response time
Assignment Length: Not provided
Estimated gross weekly pay package: $3000 (negotiable)
Location: Evanston, IL 60201

Responsibilities

Deliver exceptional patient care throughout all cardiovascular procedures
Provide holistic support addressing the physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs of patients
Collaborate closely with physicians for continuous updates and timely communication
Prepare and maintain procedure rooms, ensuring all equipment is prepared
Manage supplies and inventory, ensuring materials are available for efficient workflow
Monitor physiologic and hemodynamic data during procedures
Continuously assess and document patient condition
Support quality initiatives and continuous quality improvement activities

Qualifications

Required:

Active state Registered Nursing (RN) License
Current BCLS (AHA) and ACLS certification
Minimum of one year of hands-on clinical experience in a Cardiovascular Lab or Critical Care environment

Preferred:

Bachelor Degree in Nursing (BSN)

PEL/VIP Job ID #64115581. Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
