Assignment Overview

Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Medical-Surgical unit. Ideal candidates will possess strong skills in dysrhythmia interpretation and management, as well as experience with telemetry and tracheostomy care. This position requires the flexibility to work every other weekend and the ability to float as needed.

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive patient care in the Medical-Surgical unit
Interpret and manage dysrhythmias
Monitor telemetry
Perform tracheostomy care and management

Qualifications

Required:

Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role
Current IL RN license
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
Skills in dysrhythmia interpretation and management, telemetry, and tracheostomy care/management

Preferred:

NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification

PEL/VIP Job ID #64555079. Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
