Assignment Overview

This travel assignment is for a Registered Nurse specializing in Medical Surgical care. The ideal candidate will have experience with patient care in a Medical Surgical unit, handling a variety of adult and geriatric patient diagnoses, and managing a typical nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:6.

Estimated gross weekly pay package: $1772.82 (negotiable)
Years of experience required: 1 year
Shift: 3x12 Days
Weekend requirement: Every other weekend
Floating required: Yes
Charting system: Epic

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive care and management for patients with tracheostomies
Monitor and interpret dysrhythmias
Provide telemetry services
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including Physical Therapy and Respiratory Services

Qualifications

Required:

Illinois RN license
BLS certification
ACLS certification
Skills in dysrhythmia interpretation and management, telemetry, and tracheostomy care

Preferred:

NIHSS certification
