Assignment Overview

Seeking a Registered Nurse with Med Surg and Telemetry experience to join a dynamic team in a medical-surgical setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing complex cases, primarily within a geriatric patient population. This is an excellent opportunity for both experienced nurses and first-time travelers looking to further their careers.

Assignment Details

• Estimated gross weekly pay package: $2322 (negotiable)
• Shift: 3x12 Nights (0700-1930, 1900-0730)
• Patient Ratios: Days 1:4-5, Nights 1:6-7 (can go up to 1:8, but not common)
• Technology/Equipment: EPIC, Alaris IV Pumps, Pyxis Med Dispensing
• Orientation: NEO, followed by one 12-hour shift on the unit

Responsibilities

• Manage complex medical-surgical cases
• Provide care to patients with cardiac, neuro, and general medical issues
• Interpret cardiac rhythms and manage related treatments
• Titrate specific drips within set parameters

Qualifications

Required:

• RN License with 1 year of Med Surg/Tele experience
• BLS and NIHSS certifications
• Experience in NG tube and foley management, wound care, and blood draws
• Skilled in cardiac rhythm interpretation

Preferred:

• ACLS certification
