Registered Nurse - Emergency Room | Travel |

Assignment Overview

Join our team as a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Room. This travel assignment is ideal for a candidate with prior experience in an urban, Level I Trauma ED. Preference for candidates with teaching hospital experience. Ideal for nurses comfortable working every other weekend and open to floating as needed.

Assignment Details

Shift: 3x12 Nights
Patient Ratios: 1:4
Estimated gross weekly pay package: $2010.96 (negotiable)
Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
Floating Requirement: Yes
Charting System: Epic
Number of Visits Per Day: 120
Number of Rooms: 34
Local Candidate Policy: Locals accepted at the same bill rate

Responsibilities

Manage and care for emergency situations including trauma and cardiac events
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
Perform diagnostic tests and interpret results
Provide critical care to patients in a fast-paced environment
Monitor and document patient progress
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members

Qualifications

Required:

1 year of experience in an urban, Level I Trauma ED
ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS certifications
Prior experience with Epic charting system
Illinois RN license in hand
Experience with patient care in trauma settings

Preferred:

TNCC, CPI certifications
Experience in a teaching hospital setting

PEL/VIP Job ID #64635743. Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
