Registered Nurse (RN) - ICU | Travel | Location Not Provided
Assignment Overview
Join our Critical Care unit, providing intensive care for patients with respiratory failure, post-surgical needs, and more. The ideal candidate is experienced in PEG tube care, CVC/PICC line management, and caring for sedated and ventilated patients.
Assignment Details
- Start Date: Not provided
- Shift: 12-hour nights, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
- Floating: ICU RNs may float to MS unit
- Scrub Color/Dress Code: Any color scrubs; facility-approved t-shirts only
- Estimated gross weekly pay package: $2538 (negotiable)
- Charting System: EPIC
Responsibilities
- Provide primary care in the ICU
- Titrate vasopressors, sedation, and pain control drips
- Manage PEG tube feedings and tracheostomy care
- Maintain and troubleshoot RT equipment, including vents and BiPap
Qualifications
Required:
- Active IL license or confirmation of application process
- BLS and ACLS (AHA) certifications
- Understanding of drug-free campus policy and ability to pass a drug screen
- Experience in critical care settings, specifically in caring for sedated, ventilated patients
