Registered Nurse, ICU | Travel | RN-ICU
Assignment Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse with a specialization in ICU for a travel assignment. This role involves providing care in an acute care setting with a focus on post-operative cardiovascular patients. The ideal candidate possesses extensive CVICU experience and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

- Weekly schedule includes every other weekend and holidays
- Estimated gross weekly pay package: $4104.36 (negotiable)
- Charting System: EPIC
- Cancellation Policy: Client may cancel up to 12 hours every 13 weeks
Responsibilities
- Provide care for post open heart surgical patients including CABG, Valves, and other cardiovascular procedures
- Administer and titrate medications and drips such as dopamine, levophed, and propofol
- Monitor and interpret patient vitals and cardiac strips
- Collaborate with healthcare team including charge nurses, PAs, and respiratory therapists
- Float and adapt to various levels of patient care as needed
Qualifications
Required:
- Minimum of 2 years of CVICU experience
- BLS Certification (AHA)
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
- Ability to interpret cardiac rhythms and titrate drips
Preferred:
- ACLS certification
- CCRN certification a plus
