CT Tech/Rad Tech | Travel | Chicago, IL

Assignment Overview

We are seeking a skilled CT Tech/Rad Tech with experience in radiology and computed tomography for a travel assignment. The ideal candidate is well-versed in patient care, imaging procedures, and equipment handling in a healthcare setting.

Assignment Details

Facility Type: Hospital
Shift Details: (4) 10-hour shifts plus 50% on call with every other weekend
Assignment Length: Not provided
Number of Openings: 1
Estimated gross weekly pay package: $3000 (negotiable)

Responsibilities

Review patient history and physician's orders.
Educate patients regarding procedures, equipment, and exams.
Prepare and administer contrast media and medications as ordered.
Monitor patient condition and respond to changes in status.
Prepare equipment and supplies, ensuring safety standards are met.
Troubleshoot and resolve equipment malfunctions.
Position patients and perform imaging procedures.
Analyze and improve the quality of imaging results.
Enter, transmit, and report scan results.

Qualifications

Required:

BLS certification (American Heart Association)
ARRT certification in Radiography and CT
Associate degree in radiologic technology
2 years of recent experience in Radiology & CT

Preferred:

Completion of a CT technology certificate program

PEL/VIP Job ID #65000789. Pay package is based on 10 hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
