Registered Nurse (RN) - MedSurg | Travel | IL

Assignment Overview

Seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse with experience in MedSurg for a travel assignment in an acute care setting. The ideal candidate will manage a diverse patient population including those with GI bleeds, sepsis, and COVID, among other conditions, in a flexible unit with a typical census of 22-26 patients.

Responsibilities

Manage patient care for a variety of medical conditions
Titrate Heparin drips as required
Coordinate with charge nurses and utilize crisis RN support as needed
Collaborate with PCTs and ensure patient ratios are maintained
Utilize unit resources for IV starts and blood draws

Qualifications

Required:

Active IL RN licensure or confirmation of application
BLS Certification
Ability to produce a negative drug screen
