Join our team as a Registered Nurse specializing in MedSurg/Tele for a travel assignment in a dynamic hospital environment. The ideal candidate will bring at least 2 years of experience in Med/Tele nursing, with strong skills in cardiac monitoring and patient care management. Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care in MedSurg/Tele units
- Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms
- Manage trach care, chest tubes, PIV starts, and IV maintenance
- Administer drips, including insulin, heparin, and more
- Coordinate patient care with interdisciplinary teams
- Educate patients and manage discharge planning
- Participate in float pool as required
Qualifications
Required:
- Current BLS certification
- 2 years of Med/Tele RN experience
- Strong assessment and time management skills
- Proficiency in telemetry skills and drip management
Preferred:
- ACLS certification
- Certification in MedSurg
