Cath Lab RN - Cardiology | Assignment Type | Location
Assignment Overview
We are seeking a Cath Lab RN specializing in cardiology to deliver exceptional patient care to adult and geriatric populations. Ideal candidates will ensure safety, comfort, and high-quality outcomes throughout all cardiovascular procedures in a Cardiac Cath Lab setting.
Assignment Details
- Shift: Days, 0800-1630 + call rotation
- On call required every 2-3rd weekend, 1-3 times per week
- Estimated gross weekly pay package: $3000 (negotiable)
Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional patient care, ensuring safety and comfort
- Address physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs of patients
- Collaborate with physicians for continuous updates and communication
- Prepare procedure rooms and maintain equipment readiness
- Manage supplies and inventory for efficient workflow
- Monitor and interpret physiologic and hemodynamic data
- Assess and document patient condition in the Cardiovascular Lab
- Support quality initiatives and participate in CQI activities
Qualifications
Required:
- Active state Registered Nursing (RN) License
- Current BCLS (AHA), ACLS certificate upon hire and maintain current
- One year of clinical experience in a Cardiovascular Lab or Critical Care setting
Preferred:
- Bachelor Degree in Nursing (BSN)
