RN - Neuro ICU | Travel | Illinois

Assignment Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for the Neuro ICU unit. The ideal candidate will have experience in ventriculostomy, stroke management, and working with ventilators and arterial lines. This is an acute care setting in Illinois, requiring strong critical care skills.

Responsibilities

Manage patients with ventriculostomy and stroke conditions
Administer and titrate various medications as ordered by physicians
Operate and troubleshoot RT equipment including vents and Bipap
Read and interpret telemetry strips using Phillips monitors
Provide post-operative care for craniectomy patients

Qualifications

Required:

Active IL license or application in progress
BLS and ACLS certifications
Experience with NIH Stroke Scale, ventilators, arterial and central lines, and tPA
Understanding of acute stroke management
