Registered Nurse | RN-Medical Surgical | MedTele 4East, IL

Assignment Overview

Join our acute care setting as a Registered Nurse on the MedTele 4East unit. Ideal candidates will be responsible for monitoring medical patients, some requiring telemetry. This role requires managing common diagnoses such as CHF, diabetes, and heart failure.

Responsibilities

Monitor and care for patients with conditions such as CHF, diabetes, and heart failure.
Work with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4-5 during the day and 1:5 at night.
Ensure biPap and CPAP are monitored by respiratory technicians.
Monitor telemetry equipment and strips closely, with support from 24/7 tele monitor technicians.
Float as needed to 4West (MedSurg) and occasionally ICU for overflow patients.

Qualifications

Required:

Active IL nursing license or confirmation of application process
BLS Certification
ACLS Certification
NIHSS Certification
Willingness to work every other weekend and holiday shifts as needed
Compliance with drug-free campus policy, including negative drug screen results
