Registered Nurse - ICU | Travel | Chicago, IL

Assignment Overview

Join our Critical Care Unit as a Registered Nurse specializing in ICU. Work in an acute care setting, providing care for patients with complex needs such as respiratory failure and post-surgical recovery. Ideal candidates will have strong skills in PEG tube care, tracheostomy care, and experience with titrating drips.

Responsibilities

Provide direct nursing care to critically ill patients
Administer medications and manage respiratory equipment
Titrate and manage ICU level drips such as Precedex, Propofol, and Levophed
Coordinate care with multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Qualifications

Required:

Active IL RN license or proof of application
ACLS and BLS certifications (AHA)
Experience with PEG tube care, tracheostomy patients, and ventilated patients
Ability to titrate drips and manage sedation and pain control
Understanding of telemetry monitoring
