Cath Lab Technologist | Travel | EP Tech

Assignment Overview

We are seeking a Cath Lab Technologist with a focus on electrophysiology to perform diagnostic and interventional imaging procedures in a clinical setting. The ideal candidate will have significant experience with electrophysiology cases, particularly ablations. This role requires a skilled professional to assist physicians during procedures and effectively operate imaging equipment.

Assignment Details

Shift: Days, 4 - 10-hour shifts, with 1 night of call per week and 1 weekend every 4th weekend
Assignment Length: 13 weeks
On-call: Yes, 1 night per week and 1 weekend per month
Location: Illinois
Estimated gross weekly pay package: $3750 (negotiable)

Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic and interventional imaging procedures
Operate conventional, fluoroscopic, or radiology equipment
Assist physicians with diagnostic and interventional procedures
Monitor and pass instruments and catheters
Observe patient response to procedures
Maintain sterile field
Interpret and evaluate diagnostic data

Qualifications

Required:

2 years of experience
ARRT certification
BLS certification
Experience with electrophysiology cases, including ablations
Applicable Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Radiology or completion of an accredited radiology technology program
IL License

Preferred:

Special procedures experience

PEL/VIP Job ID #65602703. Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
