RN - Emergency Room (ER) | Travel | Illinois

Assignment Overview

Join our dynamic Emergency Room (ER) team as a Travel Registered Nurse. This fast-paced, Level 1 Trauma setting requires an experienced nurse capable of delivering care to a broad range of patients, from newborns to the elderly, with varied and critical health concerns. Ideal candidates will have at least two years of nursing experience, strong general nursing skills, and a history of working in high-acuity environments.

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive care to patients with varying ailments, including trauma cases in a Level 1 Trauma center.
Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to stabilize patients and manage a variety of drips.
Interpret and respond to life-threatening cardiac rhythms using ACLS-certified knowledge.
Perform lab draws as needed and manage assigned patients according to departmental protocols.

Qualifications

Required:

Active IL RN license or confirmation of application
ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC certifications
General nursing skills with at least two years of nursing experience
Prior travel assignment experience

Preferred:

Experience in a teaching hospital
SANE RN experience
